Preservation of the past

WHAT A BEAUTY
something old and something new.
I found this old barn behind several new buildings in a newly commercialized area. It should serve as a reminder to always preserve the past. Both in actual structures and in photography.

My last weeks in Dallas I had an opportunity to do a little driving around town. This morning I wanted to find a sun rise over the city. I did find it but to my surprise i liked the tracks so much more. Like a little boy all over again. woooo look a train set.

some times in life you just get tired, when you do find a spot and sit down, take a load off and relax.

when you have a chance to do something fun, you need to stop and do it.
Oh i have missed the days of black and white film, for me that is the days of my fathers 35mm Nikon and the time to go out and find the right landscape. Yesterday i took some time for me, and did just that. I had some fun I stopped and took this series of pictures so that i might try to use photomatix on black and white pictures.
